Curro Kathu High School’s u/19 hockey team had a fantastic ECHC Tour to Bloemfontein during March 2019 school holidays!

Playing against some of SA’s top schools, our teams did well and were able to use key games to learn and grow. The tournament presented many opportunities for team-building, planning and strategizing for the upcoming season.

With great enthusiasm, our hockey girls used the tournament to focus on teamwork and different game-play combinations.

Congratulations to Kaylee Stonestreet selected by the tournament directors to be part of a team touring to Holland in September!

Also, congratulations to Surine le Roux who were nominated the best u/19 Goalie of the tournament!

A huge thank you to all who were involved in making this tournament a success. Curro Kathu’s parents, coaches, bus drivers and learners – WELL DONE and thank you one and all!
