About 160 matrics of Ratang Thuto High School in Postmasburg, celebrated their farewell at the beginning of the year on 17 April 2019.

The guest speaker, mr Elroid Belang gave a motivational speech at the NG Kerk in Boichoko where the event started. Pastor Bopape opened with prayers. Parents took photos with the children and then left.

Mr Barnard was the MC and mrs Patricia Makgoka spoke on behalf of the principal and mrs Segakweng on behalf of the grade 12 teachers.

After the church ceremony, the event moved to the Ratang Thuto High School hall where an ex-learner and now geologist at Kolomela mine also motivated the learners.

Pastor Aubrey Bopane spoke on behalf of the principal, mr Winston Limang and mrs Edith Segakweng on behalf of the teachers.

All agreed that the farewell group of 2019 was the most beautiful group.

Good luck, and may all the learners work hard to reach their goals.
