“Building a future in science for our children.” On 10 May 2019, Curro hosted our second Science Expo.
It was compulsory for all the grade 8 and 9 learners to participate as part of an assessment task. The learners had to follow a scientific method in detail and deliver a poster, a report file and verbal communication as part of their project.
A total of 82 projects was entered. 12 Projects received Gold, 13 received silver and 21 received bronze. The idea for this event is to motivate mass participation so that the best projects can be entered in further competitions and finally to add value to science in our community.
