On 9 February 2020, Hungry Lions Football Club from Postmasburg clashed against Jomo Cosmos Football club in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 Qualifier 2019/2020 season Challenge in Potchefstroom.

The third division team from the tiny Postmasburg in the Northern Cape beat Jomo Cosmos 1-0. The Hungry Lions progressed to the last 16 teams that have to compete for a place in the quarter finals.

The Northern Cape MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Ms Bernice Sinxeve would like to congratulate the Hungry Lions Football Club from Postmasburg on their outstanding performance and victory over Jomo Cosmos in the Nedbank Cup Challenge
