BackaBuddy fundraiser

BackaBuddy is a South African crowdfunding platform that is designed to help create an online campaign to raise funds for individual causes.

Personal message from Mar-Louise Pretorius: My name is Mar-Louise Pretorius, mostly known as Malla.

I live in a small town in the Northern Cape, known as Kathu.

I have been doing Karate & Kickboxing my entire life, with my dad as a coach and now my own coach, so basically my life has always been: “Eat, sleep, Kickbox, repeat”.

One of my biggest dreams came true. I was chosen to represent South Africa in the United States, at the NMA World Championships (July 2021). I got my Protea colours, also the highest level achieved at the South African Championships.

This is a very big dream, but big dreams sometimes include big money.

Helping me reach my target will mean the world to me, not only will this mean I can make myself proud, but also my community that has been so supportive during this journey.

Most importantly, I will be able to represent my country and I would most definitely make them proud.

Any donations made will be paid to our Tour Operator, Calvin Fabig. He is in charge of our tour payments such as Airplane tickets, Accommodation or any Fair costs.
