Northern Cape Professional Football Club made it to the last 32 teams in the Nedbank Cup.

The talented team competed against Mbombela United and lost 2-1 against Mbombela United at Ka Nyamazane in Nelspruit. The team did not qualify for the next round of 16 teams in the Nedbank Cup.

Supporters from Olifantshoek, Kuruman, Postmasburg and Vryburg went to Mbombela Mpumalanga to support Northern Cape Professional Football Club in their clash against Mbombela United

The Nedbank Cup man of the match prize of R5000 was awarded to Northern Cape Professional player Raymond Daniels.
