Kathu Cricket Club hosted the Point Junior Cricket Academy during June 2019.  Cold weather certainly did not stop the kids from enjoying the cricket filled day at the Club. The Academy focuses on the development of the junior cricketers in the Kathu and surrounding communities. This ensures that the juniors improve their batting, bowling, fielding and general cricketing skills.  Academy days are planned for July and August! Kathu Cricket Club has entered a u/13 junior team to take part in a junior cricket tournament in Mossel Bay in September 2019.
