On 29 February 2020 Kathu I played against Kuruman Cricket Club in the JTG 50 Over Premier League at Kalahari High School.

Kuruman batted first and got off to a flying start. Good bowling by the Kathu I bowlers ensured wickets fell at regular intervals. In the end restricting Kuruman to a very modest total. The Kathu I opening pair then made light work of the chase, securing a 10-wicket victory.

Kathu I vs Kuruman: Kuruman – 102 all out (18), Ashton Schultz 20 (20), Gerrit Cloete 4/22 (7), Herman Van Niekerk 3/35 (7) and André van Schalkwyk 2/7 (2).

Kathu I – 103/0 (15): Herman Van Niekerk 62* (46) and Zulqarnain Virk 26* (44).

Kathu I won by 10 wickets.
