The 2017/2018 season was a record breaking season for Kathu Cricket Club. The Club won all three trophies available in the JTG Sub-Union. This is the first time any club in the Sub-Union achieved this.

The Club won the JTG Pro20 Competition, held in Kuruman, in a thrilling final against Wrenchville Cricket Club.

The club won the JTG 6-a-Side Competition, held in Postmasburg, against Postmasburg Cricket Club. This is the second year in a row that Kathu Cricket Club has won the Pro20 Trophy.

The club won the JTG League Final in Kathu against Postmasburg Cricket Club in a cliffhanger final that will long be remembered by all who witnessed the match. The club went unbeaten through the league season and ensured that the League Trophy stays at the club for the 6th consecutive year.

Kathu Cricket Club congratulates and thanks all the players for their hard work throughout the season. Their dedication, commitment and attitude made the success possible. Long may it continue.
