The past weekend Kathu Cricket Club and High School Kathu successfully hosted the 2018/2019 JTG Pro20 Tournament.

Although it was extremely cold the teams in the JTG region played with purpose and in the spirit of the game.

The tournament was structured in two pools. Pool A played at Kathu Cricket Club and Pool B at Kathu High School.

A special word of thanks to the umpires and scorers from Northern Cape Cricket. Your professionalism assured a successful tournament. We look forward to hosting this team of gentleman again in the future.

Congratulations to Kalahari High School with their victory in the Plate final. Well deserved.

Congratulations to Johanco Faihst from Kathu Cricket Club with his Player of the Tournament performances. Keep it up!

Kathu Cricket Club now qualifies to represent the JTG region at the provincial tournament to be held in Kimberley at the end of September. Well done to the squad, it was a top effort.
