On 11 April 2026 the men’s teams from the Sishen Rugby club showcased grit, determination and true rugby passion during the first league day hosted at the SIVOS sports field in Kathu, in spite of pouring rain.

The Sishen 3 rugby team dominated the field with a solid 47–10 win over the Danlime team, while the Sishen 2 team stood their ground and won 38 – 14 against the Wrenchville 2 team.

The Ladies team from the Sishen Rugby club also stood tall during their match at the Riemvasmaak Stadium in Colesberg, dominating the Colesberg Queens Ladies team with a 10–0 win.

The spectators enjoyed the fast-paced, competitive games and the Sishen Rugby club is proud of each and every player. It was an exciting and promising start to the season.
